A COUPLE’S SAILING CHARTER GONE WRONG Thirteen DOs and DON’Ts of Chartering a Boat

LOL. Just a bit older than the new AC Cats. Oddly if I was not so far away from Austin I might consider buying this thing, just to see if it would work. Gotta wonder what it's rating would be.

Perhaps someone can tell me what manufacture makes these original rub-rails. I just need to replace 6ft. of it.

80 oz Pusser's dark rum
80 oz pineapple juice
20 oz coconut milk
20 oz orange juice

Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with nutmeg and drink liberally. Wake up in March, take 2 motrin, prep boat for launch.

I am a KWRW virgin, and need some advice on which bars are must drink at, and which ones are don't drink at, as well as anything else I should make sure to do or not do. I am totally open to suggestions, but would prefer to not get arrested.

The decision was made yesterday to hold the AC in San Francisco. Quite frankly, I'm stoked! Simply from an aesthetic prospective, I think it will be a spectacular venue. I shot the picture I use as my avatar of Ellison's AC boat from land (SF's "City front"). It was taken when he challenged Allingi in SF. I have other shots where you can actually see the entire bottom of the cockpit, including the crew's feet, in the middle of a tack! I know that some other knowledgeable SF sailors (who know a lot more about the AC and racing than I do), don't think it will be a great venue.

After looking at the First 30, I could not help but come away a bit dissapointed. Anyone else have a chance to look at the boat? What are yoru thoughts?
