Jboats is really hyping their soon to be new entry in the sportboat market. I know, I know, some sport boat purists will start whining that this is not a true sport baot to which I say pfffsst.
It may not be the fastest sport boat, but it is starting to look like it may be the one with the most successful initial launch. I am really looking forward to getting a ride on one, once they are launched and sailing. If it is the boat I think it will be, I am seriously considering selling one of the 24s, and picking up a j70 as my travel/race boat. It is easily trailerable, which means I could run a few races on the local lake trailer sailing. It would also be a heck of a lot easier on me to do some away races with something like this, than it is dragging around a j24. Even with a Tahoe, a j24 can be a chore to pull.

The J/70 train is starting to build up steam, in fact with so much momentum building, it's a possibility the J/70 may eclipse any known sales records for the introduction of a new "J" class in history.
Maybe I am just being a sucker for Jboats marketing, but I am excited to see and sail this boat.
