So it is official now. The next cup will be sailed in cats. I like the idea of bringing new tech and changing things up. I also feel like this could have the potential to take away some of the close tactical match racing the cup has been known for. The question is will the excitement of the faster high tech cats be enough to make up for what is post in tradition and close tactical racing. I am betting yes, and look forward to seeing these boats go at it in 2013.
