I don't know whether to believe the people at my club, or to assume they are either in denial or full of shit. What they say is that there has always been wind, and no races were cancelled for weather. This photo is from the best weather we had for any race. Sure there was no wind, but at least there was no thunder and lightning either. Most races this past year consisted of both horrible rain and lighhtning, and no wind. I know that sounds implausible, but it is 100% historical truth. In any case, here is to hoping for better weather this coming year.
